  • Greenery to be added on Lexington roads

    The town of Lexington, South Carolina recently announced that it plans to landscape seven major intersections of roadways on the town perimeter in an effort to create front porches around the town. The town is no doubt using poster printing and flyer printing to make the residents of the town aware of its efforts to plant greenery at these entrances to the community so as to be more inviting and friendly to the public.

    The University of South Carolina recently announced that its Outstanding Woman of the Year is a senior from Lexington, South Carolina, Christina Galardi.   • Nephron to build new plant in South Carolina

    Nephron Pharmaceuticals, located in Lexington County, South Carolina, near Interstates 26 and 77, announced on March 22nd that it will be building a new facility near Cayce. They hope that this will become a major center for development and research for new products the company plans to offer. Nephron is no doubt using printing services for printing flyers and posters to make the public aware of this new facility as it will be providing potentially more than 700 jobs for the Midlands area.

  • S.C. garden has goal to create largest ancient camellia collection

    The Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Lexington, South Carolina, overlooking the Ashley River, recently brought 100 ancient varieties of camellias from Europe in addition to another 100 varieties purchased in recent years as part of its endeavor to create the worlds largest collection of ancient camellias. Printing services have been used by Magnolia to create flyers and brochures about this special collection to distribute to the public to make them aware of their efforts and inform them about camellias and other flowers and plants they have at Magnolia.

  • Amazon plans new facility in Lexington area

    A year ago Amazon decided to have another facility in Lexington County, South Carolina and is just now undergoing plans to build that facility in Spartanburg which will serve to create hundreds of jobs in the local area. The online giant is using printing services to print flyers and brochures with details about the new facility, the jobs that will be created and the process involved in applying for these positions.

  • Project Warmth delivers fleece blankets to seniors

    The Lexington County Recreation and Aging Commission Council on Aging in Lexington, South Carolina is adding to its year-round Meals-on-Wheels program a program that will provide a $5.00 fleece blanket to the 400 elderly it serves. Called Project Warmth, the project accepts donations of fleece blankets or monetary donations towards a fleece blanket. Donations can be made online or by bringing them to the Councils headquarters in Lexington.

  • New recycling efforts kicked off at South Carolina welcome centers

    The South Carolina Welcomes You to Recycle program was launched in November at the Welcome Center on Interstate 77 in York County near Lexington, South Carolina. This program is a joint effort between Sonoco Recycling Inc, one of the largest packing recycling companies in North America and various environmentally-related departments of the states government. The goal of the program is to encourage those who drive and visit South Carolina to recycle their waste while travelling rather than trashing it. It is a major effort by the state to help keep it clean for both residents and visitors.
